September 19, 2007: KDE Solaris project receives shiny new build hardware |
| Thanks to those kind souls in Sun Netherlands as well as the support of Adriaan de Groot, the KDE Solaris team has received loan of a spectacular Sun Fire X4600 server with 16 cores and 32Gb of RAM! We have also received an Ultra 45 UltraSPARC workstation for helping build KDE UltraSPARC packages. Way to go Sun.nl! |

The SunStudio 10 distribution of KDE 3.4.3 for Solaris 10 IA32/AMD32 [Pentium IV] and UltraSPARC-II [sun4u] has been released. Packages are available for download for IA32/AMD32 and UltraSPARC-II. Screenshots of this release can be seen here. |
